December 5, 2015 - January 30, 2016

600 S. Pacific Ave.

San Pedro, CA 90731

TransVagrant and Warschaw Gallery are pleased to present Warschaw/Winter II, a group exhibition of works by Craig Antrim, Merwin Belin, Arnée Carofano, Ray Carofano, Katy Crowe, Christopher Hernandez, Nate Jones, Hyung Mo Lee, Ron Linden, Marsha Mack, William Mahan, Jay McCafferty, Elizabeth Medina, Zac Roach, Regine Rode, Yong Sin, Gary Szymanski, Marie Thibeault, Ted Twine, and HK Zamani. The exhibition will open with an Artists' Reception on Saturday, December 5, from 4-7 PM.

Warschaw/Winter II is yet another tightly disconnected group sampling culled from a curious case study of area artists. Critics speak of hyper-abstractionism, stylistic emphasis, formalistic mysticism, mathematical certainty, philosophical tension, exceptional eurhythmy, and hypothetico-deductive lyricism, although a few also mention mystification and bluff. While sharing a lack of use value, many of these fetishistic works prove immensely annoying for their uniqueness, while others may appear entertaining. Organized by TransVagrant, Winter II, perhaps for no other reason, is not to be missed.

Winter II runs through January 30, 2016. Gallery hours are Monday - Saturday, 10 AM - 6 PM, and by appointment. For visuals or additional information, please call 310-600-4873.
